Journal of equitability
The Journal of EquitAbility is a trainee-led, peer-reviewed publication centered on advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R). Each issue features concise summaries of recent PM&R literature highlighting DEI-focused research and inclusive rehabilitation practices, along with editorials that amplify perspectives on representation, advocacy, and equity in the field.
Scope and Mission:
Promote awareness of underrepresented populations and disparities in rehabilitation care and research.
Encourage critical analysis of how equity and inclusion intersect with clinical practice, education, and research in PM&R.
Foster dialogue around advocacy, access, and representation in the rehabilitation community.
Support the development of future leaders and scholars dedicated to inclusive rehabilitation medicine.

Submission Guidelines
The [Journal Name] is a trainee-led, peer-reviewed publication centered on advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) within Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
Who Can Submit?
Eligibility: Medical students, DO/MD candidates, and allied health trainees interested in PM&R.

We accept two primary types of submissions for our quarterly issues:

Concise summaries of recent PM&R literature (published within the last 3 months). Must include a mandatory DEI reflection/commentary.
